Beaphar COMBOtec® spot-on solution for cats and ferrets protects against flea infestation, alone or in combination with ticks and/or biting lice. - Kills fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) and protects against new infestations in cats and ferrets for 4 weeks. - Kills ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermatocentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) and protects against new infestations in cats for 2 weeks and in ferrets for 4 weeks. - Kills biting lice (Felicola subrostratus) in cats. - Inhibits the development of flea eggs, larvae and pupae (for 6 weeks in cats) and prevents infestation of the treated animal's environment by immature fleas for the same period. - The veterinary medicinal product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of flea allergic dermatitis (FAD) in cats. Fipronil kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks and lice within 48 hours of treatment.

Instructions:
Read the instructions before use. External use - Topical application. One 0.5 ml pipette per cat, corresponding to the minimum recommended dose of 5 mg fipronil and 6 mg(S)-methoprene per kg, for local application on the skin, for cats weighing less than 10 kg. One 0.5 ml pipette per ferret, corresponding to a dose of 50 mg fipronil and 60 mg (S)-methoprene per ferret, for local application to the skin. Since no safety studies have been conducted, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks. Use the easy-open corners to remove a pipette from the blister. Do not use scissors, knives or other sharp objects as this may damage the pipette. Hold the pipette upright. Gently tap the narrow part of the pipette to allow all the liquid to flow into the thickest part of the pipette. Cut off the tip of the pipette with scissors. Push aside the fur between the shoulder blades until the skin becomes visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and gently squeeze the contents from the pipette onto the skin. Prevent the hair from becoming excessively wet during administration of the veterinary medicinal product. A sticky coat (matted/greasy hair) may be temporarily observed at the application site.
